ROTEXS produce column jib cranes are compact and versatile lifting solutions commonly used in workshops, warehouses, and manufacturing facilities. Featuring a horizontal arm, or jib, mounted on a vertical column, these cranes allow for flexible movement and precise positioning of loads. They can rotate 360 degrees, enabling operators to access various work areas without relocating the crane. Ideal for lifting heavy materials in confined spaces, column jib cranes enhance operational efficiency and reduce the risk of injuries. Their easy installation and adaptability make them a popular choice for improving workflow and productivity in diverse settings.
The beam of the crane is made of a double beam IPE330 (steel S355). Column made from a round tube 360x8.
The crane turning mechanism is manufactured by ROTEXS The LENZE drive and frequency converters are used for the turning mechanism. Beam is able to turn 270 degrees ( 1.5 rad).
The lifting-transverse transmission gear is made in Germany by the company KULI.
The elements of the company GIOVENZANA are used for energy transmission systems.
The main advantage of this type of crane is quick and easy installation. the main advantage is quick and easy installation.
Safety elements
Lifting limit switch: Prevent the hook from getting out of control when it has been lifted to the top position
Traveling limit switch: Stop the crane from traveling smoothly when traveling to the rail ends
Overload limiter: Prevent the overload
Wire rope guide: Align the wire rope neatly on the reel to prevent the wire rope from getting messed up and overlapping

Gantry-type portal cranes are widely used in ports, shipyards, and industrial terminals for handling heavy cargo. They operate on rails or wheels, spanning large areas to lift and move containers, bulk materials, or machinery efficiently. Their robust structure allows precise load positioning, reducing handling time and labor costs. Regular maintenance includes lubrication, inspection of hoists, brakes, and structural components to ensure safety and prolong service life. Proper operation and adherence to load limits are crucial for reliable and safe performance.
